One of my strongest passions, where I pour in full effort to craft engaging, emotional stories that connect, captivate, and stay with the viewer.
Spirit Within: Three Generations of Wushu, is a fast-paced documentary exploring Singapore’s traditional Zhou Jia Wushu through the journey of national athlete turned coach, Peter. From intense competitions to disciplined training, the film traces how knowledge is passed from his strict yet caring mentor, Dr Royce, to the next generation. Through legacy, resilience, and identity, the documentary reveals how cultural heritage survives when each generation chooses to carry it forward.
My trailer is a vibrant, retro‑inspired piece that blends energetic dance sequences with stylized motion graphics. It aims to capture the excitement of a bygone era while presenting it in a modern, cinematic form.
My intent is to evoke a sense of playful nostalgia while showcasing technical precision in editing and design. The story I want to convey is one of vibrancy and movement a celebration of retro style reimagined for today

Build Bridges is a heartfelt music video set in Singapore’s Enabling Village, telling the story of Toby, a person with disability, who shares his experiences through music. Through poetic lyrics and intimate visuals, the video we made explores themes of visibility, connection, and empathy, urging society to listen rather than look away. The song’s message build bridges, not walls calls for inclusion, understanding, and shared humanity despite differences. Produced by the media team including myself, the video’s impact was underscored when it was personally viewed by Singapore’s Prime Minister.
Menace at the Canteen follows an Interviewer (Myself) on an interview spree in Republic Polys campus and how birds and pests alike disrupt the eating experience. With the problem of shooting boring B- roll of plain birds minding their own business, Being also the Director of the group I decided to use a DIY bird costume to allow our video to be more engaging while still sticking to the plot. Our video received a lot of praises from both teachers and students as our video proved to be outside of the box and exercises great creativity.
In this episode of The Prim and Proper Show, host Prim(myself) sits down with Suffian “Luigi”, a world-renowned napkin folder often referred to as the Picasso of napkins. Known for his unique and captivating folding concepts, Luigi’s work has influenced restaurants and F&B establishments around the world.
I am tasked to explore the man behind the craft and delving more into Luigi’s family life, whether his creativity spills into his home as a devoted family man, and the personal meaning behind his art. The show transitions into a live demonstration where viewers witness Luigi’s artistry firsthand, turning a simple napkin into a moment of wonder.
The Secretary follows Anaqi (Talent) as the secretary. His bosses work phone is ringing and he is tasked to pick up the phone and answer it. He writes down a future meeting date for his boss and the scene ends. This short clip explores the usage of different camera angles and shot sizes as well as the team work in the control room to achieve smooth transitions and proper framing. My role was in the control room as the Production Assitant which helps the director call shots and assist the visual mixer to apply the correct camera cuts. I also helped with pre-production massively to achieve the final cut.
Afeeq (Main character)(Myself) is grounded by his parents for doing badly in his mid-year examinations. His parents confiscate any possible distractions in his room.
Afeeq troubled by the situation tries to make do with what he has and entertain himself. He exercises and uses his phone but he wants to do more. Dues Ex machina is introduced and he chances upon his neighbour hanging clothes across his room. He invites his friends over.
Afeeq makes the best out of his situation and ended up having a great Birthday Celebration
